Welcome to the second edition of
International Strings days Amerongen!
After a successful first edition in 2025, the International Strings days Amerongen return this year with an inspiring and expanded masterclass program. From July 1 to 4, we once again offer an intensive multi-day course featuring masterclasses, concerts, and relaxing activities, including an exploration of the picturesque village of Amerongen.
This year’s program is led by distinguished musicians, including Tosca Opdam (violin), Asi Matathias (violin), Lis Perry (violin), Richard Wolfe (viola), Ella van Poucke (cello), and new this year: pianist Nicolas van Poucke. This carefully selected faculty provides students with a valuable transition from the conservatory semester into the summer period.
Whether you are preparing for summer festivals, planning your fall semester, or optimizing your performance for auditions and competitions, this edition once again offers exceptional support for musicians eager to develop further. A unique opportunity not to be missed.
What to expect:
The course consists of four intensive days from July 1 to 5, offering a variety of opportunities:

Minimum of two masterclass lessons per student, in both individual and group contexts.

Chamber music coaching for existing ensembles.

Open access to all lessons and masterclasses from other teachers.

Yoga classes to start the day calmly and focused.

Alexander Technique group workshop for more awareness and relaxation.

Two student concerts, where participants can showcase their progress.

One full course day is dedicated to audition preparation, including a mock audition and feedback from the faculty jury.
The Location
Napoleonschuur, Amerongen.
The main location for the masterclasses is the beautiful Napoleonschuur in the center of Amerongen. Details of additional locations will be shared with you once all participants have registered.

The Costs
The fee for students is €750 and includes accommodation and all meals during the course.
